PROJECT OVERVIEW

We created a membership management system for a golf and country club that tracked members and their dependents, members’ properties, and pinpoint delinquent members.

CHALLENGE

Our client previously had separate systems for their club members, the members’ dependents, and the properties in the club the members owned. These relationships were also unsearchable in the system and our client incurred quite an amount of receivables from members who were not paying their monthly membership dues.

PROCESS

We collected all of the membership data of our client and organized them into a database with links between members, their dependents, and properties. We also linked these accounts to a billing and aging module, which calculated the total bills of each member, including previous unpaid dues.

SOLUTION

We created a membership management system which:

1. integrated all customer data into one system; 

2. created a searchable database for all of the club’s members, their dependents, and their properties; and

3. identified delinquent or inactive accounts based on their payment history.

IMPACT

With this new system, our client was able to properly keep track of and organize membership data, identify delinquent accounts, and convert their receivables to cash. They were able to bring their receivables down to below 20%.
